1. Online Presence Report.

The same complimentary report we give every prospect. We score your current website, your Google Maps Business profile, the directories you are listed on, the social profiles, and where you sit against your top three competitors. 2. URL audit and equity mapping.

Every page on your current website inventoried before anything live changes. The pages that already rank, the pages that bring you backlinks, the pages your buyers actually use — all identified and protected before any URL changes. This is the step most agencies skip. It is the reason most redesigns tank the rankings the business had on the old site.

3. Redirect mapping with 30-day monitoring.

WEEK 1

URL audit and equity mapping.

Every page on your old site inventoried. The pages that rank, the pages that bring links, the pages your buyers actually use — all identified and flagged for protection. The redirect plan is written before any URL changes.

Week 2 –4

Recreate on a clean WordPress foundation.

We recreate the site on a clean WordPress setup. New theme and plugin stack, no inherited bloat. We rewrite the content for how buyers actually search now — including the questions they are typing into AI tools.
Page titles, page descriptions, headings, internal links and the technical structure that helps Google and AI tools read the site all recreated from scratch.

WEEK 5 – 6

Will I lose my Google rankings during the renovation?

No. Losing rankings is the single biggest risk on any rebuild — and it is the step most agencies skip. Before anything live changes, we inventory every URL on your old site, identify the pages that already rank and the pages that bring you links, and write a proper redirect for every URL that moves. Google’s crawl gets caught and re-pointed at the new pages before the rankings have a chance to drop. We monitor the redirects for the first thirty days after launch as standard, and longer when your site has a lot of URL changes. The process is what protects what you have. Not a promise.

Can you just fix what I have, or do I need to renovate from scratch?

This is the question every owner of a website that does not work eventually asks. See the “Should I renovate or just patch what I have?” section above — it covers the honest answer in detail. The short version: we look at modification first. If the foundation is sound and a patch is the honest answer, we will tell you, even when it costs us the bigger engagement. Most of the time, on the websites we are asked to look at, the patches add up to more than a clean renovation and the recreation is the more honest answer. The Online Presence Report and the Discovery Call between them tell you which side of that line your site sits on, before you spend a cent.

Can I keep my existing host?

Yes. The R650 a month Care Plan is designed for owners who already have hosting they want to keep — Bring Your Own Hosting. The plan covers everything in our managed care offer except the hosting itself. The one trade-off, stated plainly: “We will always do everything in our control, but for hosts we do not manage, we cannot guarantee the response times or remediation timelines we offer on hosting we manage.” Third-party hosts have their own support response times, performance limits and plugin restrictions that we cannot unilaterally fix. If hosting flexibility matters more than fastest-fix turnaround, BYOH is the right call. If it is the other way round, the R850 plan with hosting bundled is the simpler choice.

How long does a website renovation take?

A typical Lekker Results renovation runs four to ten weeks from the Discovery Call — see the From the diagnosis to the new site section above for the week-by-week breakdown. The variable is how big the old site is, how many URLs are changing, and how fast the content sign-off comes back from you on the two revision rounds. A five-page renovation with content largely intact can launch in four weeks. A ten-or-twelve-page renovation with significant content rewriting is closer to ten.

Why does a renovation cost from R6,000? I have been quoted R2,000 for a fix.

Because what you have been quoted for is not what we are quoting for. A R2,000 fix is somebody changing colours, swapping a section or applying a quick patch on the old foundation — the same foundation that is already not bringing you enquiries. A renovation is a content-preserving full recreate on a clean foundation, with the URL audit, the redirect mapping, the content rewrite, the on-page work rebuilt from scratch, the performance work, the mobile fix and the Google Maps reconnection. Sometimes recreating properly costs less than endlessly repairing a structure that was never built well in the first place. Will my renovated website be tested on mobile, tablet and desktop before launch?

Yes. Most of your buyers are on a phone, so the renovated site is built phone-first and then made to work on tablet and desktop. We do not launch a site that has not been tested on real devices.

What happens to the rankings and the Google Maps profile after launch?

A renovation sets the website up to be readable by Google and by AI tools like ChatGPT and Google’s AI Overview. That is half of what is needed for the site to keep earning rankings and AI mentions over time. The other half is the ongoing work of growing the directory listings, the reviews, and the content — which is a separate Online Visibility service that runs month to month. The renovation itself includes a 30-day post-launch revision window for small adjustments and bug fixes at no cost. Bigger changes after the thirty days are charged at the hourly rate as variations.
